This episode truly broke me. It was genuinely sad to see. Not a tear was shed, not from a single character, but I feel like crying just watching the episode.

Thorfinn and Einar are 2 characters with so much depth and complexity, but more than that, they feel real. I really want them to be happy from the bottom of my heart, and I felt so empty just watching this episode. I want to see them free, and more than ever, I want to see Thorfinn be honest with his emotions.

I think, while the episode really foreshadowed the twist, you cannot prepare going into this episode. You can see it, but you can't do anything about it. Much like Thorfinn in his dreams, really.

Overall, by far the undisputed best episode this season. Real drama, real action, real emotion. Flawlessly executed.

Well and truly, this episode left me an empty man.

Wow this show has always been top tier but this episode in my opinion puts the show up there with some of the best I've ever seen. What we are watching is a masterful character study of Thorfinn with immaculate writing of both him and Einar man this show is something else. The scenes of Thorfinn and Einar just talking was a sight to behold character development wise but also so sad to watch just seeing Thorfinn talk about his past ugh.. There's a bunch of amazing episodes this season but this is by far the best one and quite possibly one of if not the best episode(s) of the entire series so far. 10/10.

Sometimes you have a dream! It seems familiar but you don't know what It means! It feels like you should know but you don't!

This was a great episode about life, the choices you make and how you change! I love how Thorfinn reflects on his thoughts and his previous experiences! There is a lot of self-realization which got me emmotional! It takes courage to admit some of these things!

The things you go through, shapes you and you try to adjust without loosing yourself! The writing is phenomenal and the dialogue is powerfull! It is impossible not to connect with Thorfinn and think about you're own life! Amazing life lessons!

Animation and soundtrack was great as it captured the vibe and atmosphere! Final scene got me very excited for the next episode!

The Best Vinland Episode Ever!

This is by far the best Vinland saga episode ever counting both the seasons. Though the episode was effectively 20 minutes long, I had goosebumps for an hour. I cried several times, Laughed a couple times, and loved the story progression. The character development we were asking for IS HERE! The animation remains as good as season 1 with Mappa taking over from WIT. Just drop everything and go watch this episode. Believe me, you won't be disappointed. It is a built up episode with a slow burn so don't go in expecting an earth shattering reveal but for the narrative experience they take you on. 11/10.

Old Thorfinn might be back!! More action in sight!

Vinland Saga's newest installment provides again brilliant character development and continues the way of the previous: less action.

First I want to say that I still love the relation between Einar and Thorfinn, it is by far the biggest strength of the second season so far. Thorfinn finding back to his roots but without losing his new qualities is a great way for the character. Again this episode is slow like the others before but it does not damage the story at all. Nevertheless could I take some more action, too. But I am sure that we will get that soon. The teaser for the next episode looks interesting...
