"The Goose Boxer" certainly had its moments, but I also feel like this show is just not clear of its identity right now. With Bob Odenkirk in the lead role they probably should be going full comedy, but it doesn't seem like they want to do it.

And then with the dinners and potential cheating and struggling with long distance, this feels like the kind of thing we would see on The CW and not a show like this.

Still a fan of Lucky Hank and looking forward to what the rest of the season gives us, but I also think the writing needs to be a bit sharper and we need more interesting supporting characters.

It's getting better episode 5 the clock Hank is reminded of his family life his relationship with his father the early life trauma is relived at the dinner we party. He was abandoned by his father and nie in the present its his wife. If she takes the job in NYC he will lose her thsts his fear. Does she really want to go back ylto her dream of living and working in NYC. It's not a fantasy as Hank wants her to c stay in Railton a comfortable town lily wants her freedom it seems that they are dealing with the marriage blues life is boring yet the price for security is sniffling. Hanks knows it but wants to hold on to the tried and true. Great emotionally charged episode.

Might just have to give up on this show

I've really tried to become invested in this show, mainly because I think Bob Odenkirk is fantastic (especially and obviously in Better Call Saul) and I enjoy his work, but nothing is clicking for me. I haven't really found the story to be particularly interesting, and I didn't laugh a single time this episode, which honestly didn't even surprise me at this point because none of the three prior episodes were particularly funny either. None of the characters are very likable, which in some cases I understand is intentional, but combined with an inherent lack of humor/a plot that really doesn't seem to be going anywhere, I don't know if I should waste my time to finish the series. Really wanted to like this show, but it feels more like a chore to watch than anything.
