I am not quite sure what to make of The Righteous Gemstones. You are guaranteed a few laughs each and every night, but the episode just did not feel like it was really building toward anything, definitely not a season finale, let alone a potential series finale, until maybe the last couple of minutes.
I like the family reuniting and teasing a potential happy ending for all, but this was still a little bit underwhelming, which kind of feels like the entire season up until this point.
I hope that the last episode does the show justice and allows things to end on a high note because it deserves it.
