Well, they left the door open for a third season, even a way for the lead character to still be alive, but this felt like a series finale in every sense of the word and it probably is time to be honest. The second season never quite found its footing and sort of bounced around concepts between cartels, terrorism, the jungle and more.
This episode was solid, but it also felt like a lot of just theatrics and shock value for shock value sake. A lot of shows have handled that kind of intense action much better than The Mosquito Coast did tonight.
Overall, the series was strong though and I hope Apple TV+ continues more programming like this.
