Pure Taboo scenes tend to be facetious or even ridiculous, but this pair of vignettes from the Anatomik Media team are dead serious. I liked one, didn't care for the other.

By contrast, "Close Enough to the Real Thing" delivers a solid drama, with solid, even moving acting by Alex Coal. And it avoids the misogyny and mean-spirited approach so common in Pure Taboo history.
