Kensi and Deeks could not deduce the truth but I did?!
CrimeDrama120 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Why did the writers set up Kensi and Deeks to look like fools? The woman who gave birth to the baby took care of the baby but completely separated herself from it and then hid herself - apparently because she accepted death from complications. The agents also found out that the woman had no boyfriend, hid her pregnancy from everyone, and she had asked to never escort contractors around the ship again. There really is only one conclusion, that one of the last contractors she escorted raped her. The writers don't allow Kensi and Deeks to deduce this, which is ridiculous, they think it is more dramatic to wait for the hospitalized woman to tell them she had been raped. This is absurd. Sure, it's possible that the woman hooked up with a contractor and was ashamed of getting pregnant while on active duty - out of wedlock, but I don't believe she would have acted the same way if this was the case.

A truly bizarre scene...after Kensi shows the woman a photo of her baby for the first time, she WANTS to name the baby after Kensi but after hearing and saying "Kensi" she decides to name her baby Evelyn after her mother.

Best episode of season

Warning: Spoilers
I think was the best episode of the season. And that ending was crazy. Can't wait for more episodes. And more Nate and more Callen and Anna. Hopefully we see Hetty soon.

Callen

Do not like Callen's live interest. There is no chemistry visible to the viewers, many other people that I have talked to agree, tome to write her off...

Episode 1311

Warning: Spoilers
This had all of the makings of a really good episode of NCIS: Los Angeles. A baby is found in distress aboard a ship full of marines? What more could you ask for?

But it simply never got going. The episode was a mess and was all over the place and the payoff proved to be about as a big a letdown as you can imagine.

I won't say that NCIS: Los Angeles is tired at this point, I feel like it is giving us a lot better episodes than most broadcast dramas are doing, but they have to do better than this. I would have preferred a by the book murder mystery as opposed to this if those were the options available.
