Seriously Underrated Kids Robot Show
BenjaminHellyer3 May 2022
Where is the love for this show?

If you enjoyed the kids movie "Robots", you'll probably enjoy "Bolts & Blip".

Admittedly, it isn't much more than animated robots fighting each other, but it's good fun. The humour is mainly aimed at kids, but I could still appreciate some of it as an adult.

It's silly and over the top, but actually really good fun. Also, with only 26 episodes running at 22 minutes each, you can easily watch it in small chunks and still get through fairly quickly, so it doesn't over stay it's welcome and you don't have to dedicate half your life to watching it.

Overall, very underrated robots show that is quick and succinct and deserves much more attention.

Great show, deserves more credit

Warning: Spoilers
Wow, just wow. This show is great. Look, the title doesn't show much, but the story, WAY batter than Cartoon Network's crap. It's about this guy named Blip who wanted to become a Battle-Bot. Then this scrawny robot, along with his best friend named Bolts were accidentally drafted?

I thought they forced the guys to let them sign up! Then the story goes deeper. A guy named Dr. Blood was a former good scientist and now he wants to conquer the galaxy using this 'black box'. (The black box is a hard drive that contains all the data of every robot.)

Blip then finds out he has a hidden power (which i thought was cool) and uses it to beat up strong opponents. Suddenly, Bolts gets turned evil by Blood (who was actually his creator) and Blip has to stop him. I am not going to reveal the ending because I don't want to give out TOO MUCH spoilers.

Anyways, this scrawny bot has a special power that buffs him up? Who would have expected that? But the part that sucks is that there is only twenty-six episodes. And that's pretty quick if you ask me. The series should have lasted longer, like, say a hundred episodes. Also, they sometimes scramble the name Lunar City with Crater city or Robot City (which is the city from the 'robots' movie). It's a shame. But despite all that, I LOVE THE SHOW! YOU SHOULD WATCH IT TOO!
