Edit (3): Why the toxicity? At the time I'm writing this, over 40 people gave this episode 1 star. Like.. seriously? How in the world is this episode less than a 9 at least? Even if you have a different favorite show, can't you appreciate the effort made by the studio? This was the ninth half-hour episode and it was full of top-notch voice acting with pure passion, well-drawn faces, and masterfully crafted background, smoothly-animated action scenes, and excellently well-composed music tracks chosen by a talented director to fit more than perfectly with each scene. It's really pitiable to give a different show 1 star just to decrease the score, I really feel sorry for you... (why?) you ask? Because the fans who thought this episode deserved 9 stars or 8 stars will change it into 10 to balance the 1's, so you're technically increasing the score and the accuracy; since the number of raters will increase for all episodes, keep spamming your 1's, little kid, that just makes us more confident in this episode.
This episode had such a good animation, even though Re:Zero doesn't rely at all on the fights and the action, and even though I didn't expect a stunning animation because we already have 30-mins long episodes, yet Whitefox Delivered both quality and quantity, as usual, the fight was so stunning and unexpected that I couldn't help but cover my mouth as it was opened for some reason. And the music was killing it during the fight! But we shouldn't forget the third trial of Emilia; it was so heart-shattering to see the characters that we know, being put into circumstances that force them into saying these kinds of words, and I see a lot of red flags surrounding the "happy ending" of the story, I guess all we can do is crying when these future visions come true (as always). And oh my god do I need that insert song at the end of the episode! It's so good, This series is indeed a masterpiece, I never enjoyed talking about a series as much as this, and I hope we're all sharing the same feeling. Also this time not gonna forget to mention that this is the 9th 30-mins episode, I'm not even joking, look it up yourself!!!
Edit (1): Ayooo!! Re:zero was trending or smth because of this episode!! Let's goooo
Edit (2): After rewatching the episode for more than three times, I guess this is the greatest Re:Zero episode (so far).
