Almost Paradise S1 E3 Reef Eel Soup for the Soul

I had to laugh at Alex Walker, played by Christian Kane, in this episode. His friend and police detective help a local chef. During the island's governor election. I love the action scenes with Mr. Kane and Art Acuna. This episode shows the seedier side of politics while helping the locals handle a "tense" situation. I recommend this show highly! I'd like to see a few more seasons of this show. Life lessons, action, humor and knowing there are still good guys out there! I am a big fan of Dean Devlin and his wonderful crew and of Christian Kane! PS: I'm not alone in being a Christian Kane fan!!!

No Problem! You Fix! Problem is without any money , how do you fix up your gift shop to make money? Is reef eel soup Alex's cure for hypertension? hmm?? I think adventure is! Trying to do good doesn't always work out as you had planned! Won't give away any spoilers! You need to check out Almost Paradise to see for yourself.. Christian Kane rocks his role as Alex Walker!

AN EXOTIC SOUP AND CORRUPTION?
tranquilityentertainment1 February 2021
Apparently this soup is a curative for many conditions. But this episode is about corruption and how our people foil the bad guy and trick him. We're SMARTER than the average bears....the bad guy, who's only interested in money, just doesn't realize it!! Great episode. Alex tries the soup and likes it.

Reef Eel Soup for the Soul

Elections are taking place. Kai has been assigned to protect the Governor and keep her eyes and ears open.

There are subtle hints dropped about political corruption.

Meanwhile Alex comes across a local food seller being shaken down. He comes to the man's aid but does not stick around as the baddies return later on and burn his place down.

Alex organises a set up where he pretends to be the new hood in town with his own protection racket.

He finds out that the organisation behind the shakes down want to steal the election as their real aim is to dump global rubbish in the small islands of Philippines.

Behind the comedy and the fight scenes. There is a subtext about political corruption and groups who use chicanery for their own agenda. Also a green message.
