Wallander, who is beset by angst, gets further involved with the confrontation between terrorists and immigrants following the violent death of a young man. As this progresses, things get uglier and uglier. He leaves the side of his best friend to chase a man he saw at the murder and the friend is in ICU, in a coma. Even though Kurt is stabbed, the wife blames Wallander for running out on her husband. Kurt, ordered by his commanding officer, begins investigating in unwelcome places. He is much too obvious and pays a price.

Quite a slow second episode, but still worth watching.

Wallander is haunted by the fact that he left his partner's side, in order to pursue the man at the heart of the tragic death of the young man.
It's a good episode, if I'm honest I'd say I found it slow, without a huge deal of content, nothing unique ot dramatic happens, it all pretty much reinforces what happened in the opener.
I'm not sure if it's just me, but the special effects and music are loud, the dialogue seems to be quiet.
The acting continues to be on point, the story is very good, and very relevant for today.
Good, 6/10.
