True crime genre is getting more and more popular each day and there’s no secret why: gripping stories about things that seem impossible in real life. However, what makes them even more exciting for the viewers is the fact that what is shown on screen has actually happened in reality, and that just makes people lose their minds.
One of the recently released true crime dramas is Netflix’s Baby Reindeer. The miniseries tells the gripping story of the performer Richard Gadd, who at his young age was harassed by a female stalker.
The story is powerful and already got 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, but here we have 5 more jaw-dropping series that follow real-life terrifying stories.
1. When They See Us (2019)
When They See Us is just 3% short of a perfect score, but that means nothing in this case because the series is considered the best true crime of all time.

I had completely forgotten that Ryan Murphy’s American franchise was expanding with a new pair of spin-offs, and the first is finally moving forward. American Sports Story will focus on Aaron Hernandez, the former New England Patriots player who was found guilty of murder and later killed himself. THR reports that Jose Andrés Rivera has been tapped to star as Aaron Hernandez in American Sports Story. Deadline added that Patrick Schwarzenegger (Gen V) has also joined the cast as Tim Tebow.
American Sports Story will be based on the Boston Globe and Wondery podcast Gladiator: Aaron Hernandez and Football Inc., and will be scripted by Stu Zicherman (The Americans). The season will chart “the rise and fall of the former New England Patriots tight end who was convicted for murder and ultimately took his own life. Thematically, it will explore the disparate strands of his identity, his family, his career,...

Jon Cryer is returning to primetime: NBC has handed a series order to an untitled multi-camera sitcom starring and executive-produced by the Two and a Half Men alum, TVLine has learned.
Created by actor/writer Mike O’Malley (Heels, Survivor’s Remorse), the half-hour comedy centers on former marrieds Jim (played by Cryer) and Julia (Timeless‘ Abigail Spencer).
