Hands down my favorite tournament arc of all time

Recently, I've been noticing a sharp increase in Black Clover's quality starting around episode 46 or so. And now this arc. The themes presented and the maturity of some of the things I saw and heard were a little jarring considering this is a shounen anime for 12 year old boys. I remember the Yu Yu Hakusho tournament arc which was incredible, and the My Hero Academia tournament arc which was also great, but none of them quite meet the sheer greatness put on by this masterpiece of a tournament arc. The part at the end of this episode where Yuno brushed off Asta's remark that he would catch up with him felt like a spear in my abdomen. You can feel Asta's bitterness from seeing himself be easily outdone with nothing he could do. You get hyped when Yuno reveals his new power. It's a combination of great action voice acting and emotions that makes the fantastic finale to this history making arc. This anime is inching closer to the peak of shounen. I can't wait for what's next.

One of the best episodes so far if not the best.
This is probably the best episode of the show so far in my opinion. I've only started watching black clover this year so I was quite late to the party, but I'm glad I got around to watching it as it's been pretty good and entertaining. This episode was great, after a a bit of a dry patch of episodes it's now really heated up. The last 4-5 episodes have been great and now we got the best fight of the show so far in Yuno vs rill In the finals of the tournament. Great animation and execution of the story for the characters. And the aftermath with Asta and yuno after asta failed to win and the Zora reveal at the end. Great episode all around. Hopefully it keeps up this pace and great animation.
