Storyline
| Plot Summary |
In Florida, after a severe outbreak of schizophrenia and a period in the psychiatric hospital, the teenager Rain returns home with her parents John Burroughs and Michelle. She is outcast at school by her former friends, but the newcomer Caleb, who is a nerd, befriends her. Rain has psychiatric sessions with Dr. Alexa and needs to use many medications, but has some difficulties to know what is real and what is not real. When she hears the cry of a girl, she believes her next-door neighbor and teacher Dani McConnell has kidnapped a child. Caleb decides to help her, but Michelle believes he is an imaginary friend.
