You can't take the gonzo out of the girl, if her name's Vespoli
lor_13 June 2016
In an earlier review of an overly ambitious Dana Vespoli project (pretentiously titled "Girl/Boy") I criticized her for her "gaping" close-up, dragging the video into the gutter. Well, I stand corrected - back at the beginning of her soon-to-be legendary directing career, Dana revealed her overwhelming fondness for gonzo sex in "Dirty Little Stories", a rather bloated 3-hour exercise which succeeds on its own terms of excess.

What makes it watchable is that even at this early date, a decade ago, Dana was committed to the narrative form, albeit in a concentrated "O. Henry" short story approach distilled to minimalism. At the end of each of these 5 lengthy vignettes, there is a sudden snap in the scorpion's tale, as the seemingly mindless Max Hardcore porn resolves into a surprise ending. I am looking forward to Part 2 as a result.

She leads off with the biggest star of the day, Jenna Haze, who is an all-time Great in my book. Haze is the object of auteur/actress Dana's affections and voyeuse's gaze, leading to some hot and heavy action when a guy with a big cock shows up for some anal action with the veteran young lady.

Gia Paloma brings contrasting big-breast content with her dominant role, also involving some Sapphic sex, applied to hot Lexi Love. This also morphs into a 3- way including some tantalizing CFNM content.

Fourth segment cements a prescient use by Dana of rear-tracking shots of the posteriors of her femme models, forecasting her later entry into the John Stagliano Evil Angel fold for future projects (this early one is for Digital Sin). It's a striking vignette of Angela Stone lonely in her mansion, serviced in a rape fantasy by brutal intruder Mark Davis, and including a massive squirt by AS. It's trick ending is quite appropriate.

Finale is a bit indulgent but still effective role-playing exercise, whose punchline "Don't Tell Dad" reveals it to be a forerunner of today's rampant and disheartening fake-incest craze. There are numerous cameos, and I was glad to see Digital Sin crediting them.
