This has it all, story, script, pace, ending.

Barry Sullivan, is excellent.

The final scene, with the girl, says it all.

Portrays lawyers in a bad light

Memorable for Wheelock's line: i am the big frog.

Stereotyped small town justice. Hoss breaks through the fog and saves Candy.

No sooner than

No sooner do Michael Landon and David Canary arrive in a town that Candy resided in than he's arrested for the murder of the son of that town's Ben Cartwright. And when Landon does some investigative work for Canary's attorney Barry Sullivan than he's arrested for murdering a witness.

Granted that forensic science in 186s Nevada was not as good as it is today, but they should have cleared Little Joe of a murder charge.

It's Dan Blocker when he comes to town who gets to the bottom of everything.

Nce performance by Barry Sullivan and by Brooke Bundy ho is Sullivan's daughter and who holds all the answers.
