***SPOILERS*** Well, anyone who's actually been to a racetrack, and placed more than one bet after reading The Daily Racing Form knows, there is a lot more to figuring out a good pick than any show on T.V. can possibly show you. Nonetheless, this issue was entertaining to watch, and the conclusion was okay. why didn't Roscoe place at least SOME money on his pics is the real mystery in this show.
Make NO MISTAKE there are people out there who have a very good income derived from picking winners. The problem that we mere mortals have is we will never know who they are. See, these people are too smart to brag about it. Only idiots talk about their great gambling successes. I stick up for Roscoe in this quest, and say that he is probably extremely knowledgeable and effective than "77" portrays. He just has an image to protect, and winnings, too. Fun to watch, an 8.
