Never before have young and unknown filmmakers been able to capture such wonderment on the screen. As you watch the movie, you get a feeling that these guys almost know what they are doing...almost. I especially enjoyed watching Ricky - he is on the fast track to Hollywood super stardom for sure. Also, the animatronics department really hit a home run with the zombie deer - it really looks alive! But what truly gets to you when you watch the film is the fact that, while there is virtually no plot, you still walk away with a feeling of bountiful joy. And plus, the cinematography is like something out of a Michael bay film - just amazing. Kudos to this film-making team for turning some heads...even if they are turning them in the wrong direction...

Although this movie is a first for the young production company, even an initial watching displays the inherent quality. These boys have a bright future.
With well written dialogue, fantastic production design, astounding acting, and competent directing, this movie is a benchmark for the ages. Move over Goddard, Brakage, Lumet, Tarantino, Fellini, Antonioni, Varda, Vertov, and Dante, this movie will kick your ass! Highly recommended! Movie of the season! Be sure to check out their second short, "Risk Management"! Coming Soon to a computer screen or DVD player near you! A+++++. Fantastapotomus!

Future Romeros!?!

Wow! I saw this film at the 'Music Box Massacre' film fest a few weeks ago, and holy cow was it great. For a short film with no budget, it really blew the other short films out of the water. The film starts off like any other great horror film, a group of friends in a car heading somewhere. Pretty standard set up. The friends are going out to make a zombie movie. They go to a local cemetery, where real zombies happen upon their set! The amazing special effects and great locations really complemented the horrible acting to give it an 80's campy feel that can't be beat. I did some research, and this film is making the fest rounds. Check out the official site to see if it is coming to your neighborhood. Highly recommended!!
