Adam & Eve is far and away my favorite Adult studio from the turn of this century, releasing dozens of engrossing, quality story features. But more recently, it has gone the way of all flesh, dominated by its gonzo wing, and key instigator was Luc Wylder whose Fallen Angel production banner made this tiresome IR exploitation video.
Both Mr. Marcus and former superstar Chasey Lain make a plea for sanity in the BTS short subject while Luc interviews them. They point out that they are unique individuals and their having sex together while cameras roll is an end in itself, but Luc insists on the hook and yes, emblazoned on this DVD as if anyone still gave a sh*t is Chelsey Lain's "very first interracial scene, ever!".
Credits are cutesy, too, listing for each segment: "Sean Michaels in Carmen Luvana", etc. Not all the performers are enlightened, with obscure (but busy by his own count of performances) actor Sylvio Mata indicating that going to L.A. and becoming a porn actor introduced the Southern guy to white women, and he became addicted to humping them.
Archaic color line issues aside, "Black in White 2" is generic porn, merely 5 brief scenes of interracially cast couples humping, each scene starting off in black & white and morphing into color. I suspect Luc thinks that is a thematic or artistic touch of some sort. The big dicks are impressive and seem slightly beyond the range of the experienced actresses involved.
Sadly, anything of interest is relegated to the 35-minute BTS short, as we hear about the obscure witches' sect that Violet Blue belongs too, and get a sort of late-hippie-era monologue from newcomer Gwen Jade. Luvana, on the cusp, of super-stardom, is full of herself, spewing tons of b.s., but I still like her anyway. Siimilarly, Sean Michaels' "aw, shucks!" approach doesn't ring true, having seen him so confident on screen now for nearly 30 years and an uncountable number of assignments.
