It's "cut to the chase" for Episode #18 of the hit series, as the four leading ladies' characters and their ongoing stories play second fiddle to the six XXX sex scenes that fill out the running time.

This time the gals are exposed to the porn industry, which belies the episode's misleading title "Real Life". Radio show host Lindsey (played by Nina Hartley) has a meeting set up by a station exec (actress/director Skye Blue in a cameo role) to discuss a potential movie project for cable TV based upon her success as sexologist on the air with her hit call-in show.

She meets with cable company rep Sharon Kane, a hint as to what will come. No sooner does she meet the producer/director of the project, played by cameraman Jake Jacobs, than Lindsey is having sex with him, and the movie is greenlighted.

Spud, a frequent crew member, hams it up comically as a security guard, who the four ladies manage to fool in order to get onto the closed set and watch the first day's shoot for the movie. They are shocked to find out it is actually a porno film, with Jake directing busty Sunset Thomas, cast in Lindsey's role.

They watch another porn scene being shot on an adjacent set, featuring Jordan Hays and Jake Armstrong, and mild satire of the Adult biz transpires, including an in-joke verbal reference to Dale DaBone.

Each of our heroine's gets a sex scene of her own, with Dee in a lesbian clinch (as usual) with production assistant from the porn crew Kristal Summers (styled as a brunette); Asia Carrera as Tori paired with Alex Sanders; and Keri Windsor as Monica serviced by John West, after West caters the birthday party of Monica.

Episode is padded with over 10 minutes consisting of recap footage from Episode #17 and preview scenes from Episode #19, latter titled "Birthday", not referring to Monica's but rather to Lindsey's upcoming 40th.
