Dreamy and romantic
lor_5 October 2022
A fine example of the Couples Romance genre, "Dream Lust" is all about Houston's erotic dreams. The Bo Derek lookalike (replete with Bo's trademark corn-rows hairdo) is carrying a torch for boyfriend Peter North, who seems to be ghosting her, and she makes fun of her pal Dallas's addiction to psychic phone lines and other supernatural tips on her chances for romance. Begrudgingly, she accompanies Dallas to visit an exotic fortune teller (Cassandra Curves, cited as "introducing" in the opening credits).

Cassandra reads the fortunes of both ladies, and gives Dallas some tea to slip to Houston when they get home. That sets into motion a series of dreams that consume the entirety of the movie.

Director Jean-Pierre Ferrand (aka Charles Rothstein) does a fine job of presenting each scene ambiguously -is it real or just another dream? And he also made another movie in this vein, titled "Full Moon Fever". He paired Houston and Dallas in a rather poor feature titled appropriately "Texas Crude".

Besides busty Houston, we get to gaze at a huge-breasted wonder Kimberly Kupps, as well as Cassandra, an energetic Black actress with, what else, big tits.
