A Great Realistic Show

This is not only an interesting, engaging and well written show, it also brings the viewers an important understanding of the corruption and outright perversion of the police and especially of the judiciary system that took place from the late 1960s till the 1980s.

This kind of shows with both a cultural criticism and truly moral heroes and bad guys are sadly something of the past nowadays - and they are needed like never before.

And unlike modern shows it has a moral side that we also got from the old westerns.

The camaraderie between the lead actor and his partner is trustworthy and warm.

I personally love shows like this.

It's nostalgic, atmospheric and honest in my opinion.

If anyone can recommend shows alike this I'll appreciate recommendations!

Great show! Far better than Barretta and Kojak. But people would not accept Arness if not playing a cowboy. It seemed too fake.
