Trivia This film was the subject of a civil case in the United States, Smith v. Montoro, 648 F.2d 602 (1981). In the case, actor Paul Smith alleged that he had acted in the leading role, and had a contract granting him star billing. However, when the film was distributed in the U.S. his name was stripped from the film, and "Bob Spencer" was listed as the star in advertising and the film credits. Though a federal court of appeals (Ninth Circuit) granted Smith standing to sue the filmmakers, it is unknown how the case was finally settled. See more »
