A Private Detective is handed a misterious case: He must move to a previously rented flat from where he must spy a certain man's activity. The suspect is a misterious and solitary old man, with rigorous rotines, dedicating much of his time to his writings at home. Time passes and the investigation seems not to develop, making the Detective speculate about the true purposes of the case.
