I liked the first part of the episode up until Anna delivered the baby, especially the acting. Emma Roberts' scream sounded so jarring and genuine, and the way the baby was conceived was intriguing. But everything went downhill after that point. There were so many questions left unanswered, and the ending made no sense at all.

For starters, we don't get to find out the deal with the dolls, despite that plot taking up several scenes in previous episodes. There's no explanation as to what Siobhan is, or what the green heels and spiders are about, etc. Not only that, but the ending gives us even more unanswered questions. Why and how did Dexter's ex-girlfriend (Adeline) suddenly appear to cast a spell with Anna? How was Siobhan, an ancient powerful being, defeated SO easily with just a spell? Did the other witches die? Why did Anna put on Siobhan's hat? If Siobhan was in the room, why didn't she try to stop them? How did casting that spell make Anna's baby not a monster anymore?

Also there is Ivy. She got killed by Siobhan for killing Dex (Siobhan's son), and Sonia witnessed her mother getting killed but didn't even react. There was no conflict, no sadness, no shock from her. She saw her mother die and just acted like nothing happened. If I'm being honest, it would've made so much more sense if Sonia had helped Anna cast a spell to get rid of Siobhan for killing her mother, instead of having Adeline randomly appear for no reason.

I also felt like the witches were greatly underdeveloped. Despite giving us a lot of screen time with them in this episode they still felt flat SPECIALLY Ashley and Ashleigh which were the main witches along with Siobhan. They're just as important as Siobhan and we never got anything of significance from them this season or this episode other than explaining along with the others why they were doing all of this.

Overall, the ending felt rushed and added many things at the last minute that didn't make sense. The reasoning behind why they did all of this felt weak and strange, and the way they defeated the 'villain' (Siobhan) was just plain awful. I was really rooting for this season-I saw people hate on it, but I actually liked it but this ending is indefensible.
