Another double-length episode, following a 90 minute episode, right on top of a double-length. Phew. Let's see what's going on here. We're on location for this one. In fact, we're going through the Panama Canal again. It seems like just yesterday that we were getting such canal facts. Wait a minute. The ship departs as the Pacific Princess. Now we're on the Island Princess. I think something fishy is going on here. I hate recycled canal footage! Mallory Quest? The only Mallory I know is Mallory Keaton. I don't suppose this is related to a young Justine Bateman. Actually, we're talking about Brian Mallory, a writer. Mallory is played by Pernell Roberts. He's not too friendly with the crew. He's paid for some of our passengers. But why? He's tasked Gopher with delivering invitations to each of his guests. Even Gopher gets one of the invitations! Jimmie Walker assumes the invitation is from some wealthy woman. Skip Stephenson is donating a kidney to his brother. He's worried. Connie Stevens is back, this time with big Peter Lupus. Dick Van Patten is looking to recruit. He wants Captain Stubing. Maren Jensen wants to know all about this Mallory guy. Lani O'Grady is jealous that Bart Braverman is so tight with Julie. Vicki just wants to play ping-pong. Doc falls for Mrs. Mallory. The mystery element makes this a little different. See you for part two.
