They had the right balance of fighting over contests and emotion and comedy that we expect from this series. It was a good return and I am so glad we still have this series, although The X Factor AU coming back would be great too.
Good to see RIP get a cover on The Voice. This is one of Rita's best songs and a stripped back version of it is a nice touch.
I just don't like Niall Horan's music even if he has done a good job as a coach, but it seems like some of the covers of his songs, including This Town tonight on the premieres, bring out the best in the contestants so I guess they should keep it coming.
