The Lawyer: The Crown v James S
22 December 2023
Hancock becomes a barrister of law and is not a very good one. In his most recent case the accused was sent down for serial bigamy.

Hancock led the prosecution but he was meant to defend him.

Three Home Secretaries have had to resign because of Hancock's misconduct in court.

Now in the last chance saloon. The head of his chambers have given Hancock his old pal Sid to defend.

Sid has been accused of robbery with over 200 witnesses. He parked the getaway car at a bus stop.

Can Hancock set Sid free? He needs his advocacy skills at its sharpest so the jury are eating out of his hand.

The best part of the episode were the scenes at the police station where Hancock attends to see the prisoner. The Police Sergeant cites Hancock multiple times for motor offences.
