It was kind of refreshing to see Stewie, Brian and Chris somewhat restrained and not overly shouting but actually uplifting her sister. And getting a good, but brief, appearance from Carter is always welcome, but overall this concept just felt a little weird.
I can overlook some unnecessary political references, but the show did not go as deep as they could have with the male-centric talk show. You would think the old Family Guy would not be afraid to perhaps offend some people with what they might cover should Peter actually get a gig like this, but with Family Guy now a little woke, you knew they wouldn't go there.
