I couldnt imagine that one could make an interesting 100 minute feature documentary about a fake boyband from the nineties. I found their music to be rubbish back then, but this documentary is truly hilarious.
The story: in the nineties 2 good looking boyband singers got world famous overnight, but after having won a Grammy award it turned out that they didnt sing one note on "their" record. It became one of the biggest popmusic scandal stories of the nineties!
The good: what makes this documentary stand out is the detail in which the deceit is explained. And in the end I truly couldnt blame these guys who were mereley ANOTHER example of the ruthless MONEYMAKING machine that is the music industry.
