This show is getting better, there's no doubt about that.
It's taken four years, but only now does it feel that the confidence is growing both on camera and behind about what this show wants to be and the stories it wants to tell.
This is a good episode indeed with that in mind, and the additions of Amy and Bernadette (albeit less so) are really driving things forward.
I like the Priya shaped problem in the middle of the Leonard and Penny relationship/their chances of reconciling, and it's good to see them try to flesh out the character of Howard a little more too.
It does still feel like it's too easily led down the 'Two and a Half Men' style of humour, but the progress is clear to see.
