The first 15 minutes or so of this episode were great. Having a 60's style TV show explain what could possibly happen and then we got the chaos of that infection and the spread making for arcade video game style action. That was well-done.
And then it took a very odd turn. As soon as they flash-forwarded to the quarantine area it brought back the worst memories of The Walking Dead. I really hope that this is not what the show is long term because I feel like that would be a huge mistake. Focus on the action and the seriousness of this apocalyptic world and not the politics and power struggles associated with it.
