The Lions games are usually awful because it is either them facing a bad team and/or it is a lopsided loss against a better team. They faced a much better team in this one and still managed to make it a close contest.
Dan Campbell has this team going for it on a lot of 4th downs and that is exactly what teams should be doing now. But Jared Goff can only take this team so far and in the moments they needed him to step up he just could not get it done.
An entertaining game early on though. It was going to be a long Thanksgiving Day of football and eating and both got off to a quality start this afternoon.
