Aside from the proposal, the Amy/Sheldon storyline was awful. Sheldon could have been written as a doting fiancé, but he was written as a jerk. For Sheldon to be all mushy after speaking to Hawking, was not in his character either. I liked it better when Sheldon was painfully unaware of his eccentricities.
I so wanted Raj to have happiness throughout this series and it never happened except temporarily. To have Stuart going on a date and rubbing Raj's nose in it was sad to be honest.
The addition of Hawking to this episode was unnecessary, period. I get Sheldon idolizes him, but come on!
The best part of this episode was Howard & Bernie.
I do disagree that Penny & Leonard look like they are bored with each other. They look married and sometimes looking bored is the most comfortable part of marriage. It's love.
