Warning: Spoilers
I don't understand why people call this a perfect ending. It's anything but that. It destroys any sense of stakes the viewer's had in the AWESOME episode leading up to this.

There is the prophecy in which all our favourite characters get together and beat Cipher, but they decide not to go with that, fine! But what they so instead is just... disappointing.

They tell us he can be defeated by erasing him when he is inside Stan's head. Which does in some way make sense, but is quite anticlimactic, but that's fine, that's not the bad part. That comes now: Stan loses his memories and it's very emotional, but then they can restore it within 10 god damn seconds of showing him pictures? Oh come on, you've gotta be kidding me?!

And in addition, upon Bill's defeat everything goes back to normal, just like the Night King and all of his soldiers on GOT (everyone hated that detail too), but it's EVEN WORSE. Because in GOT people we lost atleast STAYED dead. But here, EVERYONE comes back, even the god damn town is fully repaired. There are NO stakes. Nothing.

The ending was nice and emotional, but that destroyed the climax for me completely.

Just my opinion.
