Portal 2 is one of those games that leaves a huge impact on you the first time you play it. Opening with you in a strange location introducing you to the character of Wheatley, a wisecracking robot who guides you through the opening chambers in a decaying Aperture Science facility now becoming overgrown with vegetation.

The writing and level design is all spot on and clever with the ongoing feeling of being trapped and alone becoming more intense as the game goes on. The humor never dies down of feels boring which is great, and the puzzles are challenging enough without feeling too intimidating or losing on it's fun factor.

The soundtrack aswell is also unique and fits the game's atmosphere very well, at times very quiet and subdued adding a mood to the game's environment, and then becoming more intense and layered during the game's more faster and intense moments. It's always adding new mechanics to play with as Valve finds new ways to work with the two portal formula.

GlaDos played by Ellen McLain is a great and entertaining Sci-Fi villan and is always very funny to listen to aswell as being a character that gets more interesting as the game goes on.

The game also has a 2 player Co-Op mode that you can play with a friend which is also very well designed with lots of fun to be had. Overall one of Valve's best games and it's a classic in my eyes
