I don't understand why this wasn't the original ending, maybe they wanted a cliffhanger in the season 1 finale.
But this is actually really good, after Trigon's defeat we can feel a lighter tone to the show, it still has the awful blue filter but I hope it's gone by next weeks episode. Loved it
