Great follow-up to the 2012 series

Warning: Spoilers
I don't care how much hate I'm gonna get for this. I think this show is spectacular. I liked the 2012 incarnation of TMNT as much as the next person, and this is a good follow-up to it.

I like how this show shakes up the team dynamic. In this version, Raphael is the leader, while Leonardo is the tough one. I really enjoy this show's version of Raphael because he's more sympathetic than he is in the other versions. In fact, Raphael is my favorite character on the show, followed closely by Donatello and April. I just love this version of April.

Despite all the changes, such as the aforementioned dynamic shake-up and the show being slightly more comedy-based, it still feels like a TMNT show. There are awesome action scenes to balance out the comedy, not to mention the gorgeous animation. The villains are interesting, even if most of them only appear in one episode and never show up again.

The only change I don't like is that in this version, Master Splinter is a lazy slob who only likes to watch TV, which I feel is a major injustice to the character. Putting that aside, the show is a great new Nicktoon. My favorite original Nick show to come out in 2018 alongside Double Dare and possibly Butterbean's Cafe.
