Trivia

The Turtles are visually based on their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) designs:
  • Raphael is the most muscular and scarred, having a cracked shell and a du-rag bandana.
  • Donatello is distinctly leaner than his brothers and incorporates tech gear into his body.
  • Michelangelo is the shorter of the Turtles.

Yikes this is too much of a departure.

It's not a terrible show, it just isn't the TMNT.

After the last show which hit so many right beats and got down to the essence of teenage Turtles, this is show just seems to be like some one saw an episode of Samurai Jack, made the animation worse/jaggard, wanted to make it more street and throw the turtles on as a desk top.

It doesn't get any better after the first episode either, if anything it's starts to go down stereotypes that come close to being borderline.

Could only recommend to fans of off the wall animation, not to turtles fans.

I can see this series failing hard with the fans of the franchise.

Eastman and Laird should never have sold their property away if this is how the new owners will treat it.
