There's ways to tactfully handle tough or inherently grim subjects, Family Guy completely misses the mark. As someone whose experienced domestic violence myself, this episode just gives terrible flashbacks to instances when I was being abused. The fact that thus shows tries to make jokes out of Brenda being physically beaten by her boyfriend is NOT OK.
