The SG-3 reports to the SGC that the planet Latona is under a Goa'uld since their powerful defense system called The Sentinel is not working. The SG-1 blames the rogue NID team commanded by Maybourn that had disassemble and reassembled the piece of equipment to learn and steal its technology. Jack brings the former Colonel Sean Grieves and Lieutenant Kershaw that are on the death row to join the SG-1 and repair The Sentinel. Will they succeed to make The Sentinel work again?
