My hobby is watching and collecting movies on VHS and DVD. On 17 June 2003, I found the IMDB site through an indication of a friend. My first review was "Anazapta" and since then, when I finish watching a movie, I write my personal opinion about it.
I am eclectic, but my genre number 1 is horror. I see between 800 and 900 movies per year, including TV series ("Sex and the City", "Angel", "Buffy", "Six Feet Under", "Lost" etc.).
My favorite movie is "Casablanca" and it is hard to point out my favorite director, actor and actress. I usually do not read any review before seeing a movie, in order to be not influenced by the critics.
I am trying to list my favorite movies alphabetically ordered, but this list may change:

Ghosts of Mars (2001)
In Mars, Humans Are the Invaders
In 2176, in Mars, Lieutenant Melanie Ballard (Natasha Henstridge) returns alone from a mission, hand-cuffed to a bar in a train in autopilot. Ballard is summoned by a commission and explains that the team formed by Commander Helena Braddock (Pam Grier), Sgt Jericho Butler (Jason Statham), the rookies Bashira Kincaid (Clea DuVall) and Michael Descanso (Liam Waite) and she were assigned to bring the dangerous criminal James "Desolation" Williams (Ice Cube) from a mining outpost to the prison. On the arrival, they note that there is no person in the town and Desolation is locked in a cell with other prisoners. Meanwhile Sgt. Butler meets Commander Braddock beheaded and a group of haywire miners and comes to the jailhouse with three locals that are normal. But soon they learn that the guys are gangsters' friends of Desolation that intend to release him. When they meet the scientist Whitlock (Joanna Cassidy), she discloses that she accidentally released a force from an underground room developed by the former Martian civilization to protect against invaders and now the miners are possessed by this evil ghosts and destroying the humans.
Despite the bad and unfair reviews of the professional critics, "Ghosts of Mars" is another entertaining film by John Carpenter. The original story was supposed to be based on Snake Plissken, but the studio changed the story and forced Ice Cube as the belligerent hero. The cast is great, with young and veteran actors and actresses. The DVD released by Columbia in Brazil has making of and many Extras. The music score by John Carpenter and Anthrax is another plus in this good film. My vote is seven.
Title (Brazil): "Fantasmas de Marte" ("Ghosts of Mars")
The Longest Day (1962)
The D-Day at Normandy
"The Longest Day" is an American black-and-white film of 178 minutes running time in a documentary style disclosing the hours of tension before the D-Day at Normandy in the Allies side in England and the German command in France. The impressive cast speaking English, German and French is amazing and maybe the greatest attraction of this film. The action scenes (in 1962) of the Normandy Landing are diminished by "Saving Private Ryan" (1998), but are still great. "The Longest Day" was the winner Best Cinematography, Black-and-White in the Oscar and Golden Globe and winner of the Best Effects, Special Effects in the Oscar and nominated in several categories of several awards, including the Oscar and Golden Globe. My vote is eight.
Title (Brazil): "O Mais Longo dos Dias" ("The Longest Day")
The Sequel That Should Have not Been Made
"The Dirty Dozen" (1967) is a masterpiece of the action-war genre with great story, screenplay, direction and cast. This sequel (or remake?) made in 1985, meaning eighteen years later, is a poor attempt of exploring the former success and an awful film that should have not been made. The storyline is identical, but taking place a couple of months after the first mission in 1944. In addition, Lee Marvin is older; Richard Jaeckel and Ernest Borgnine are fatter and older; and the cast is inferior. The jokes and situations are basically the same but without the wittiness of the original classic movie. The American Blu-Ray offers this terrible film as an Extra of "The Dirty Dozen" without subtitles or restoration. My vote is five.
Title (Brazil): "Os Doze Condenados: A Próxima Missão" ("The Twelve Convicted: Next Mission")
Person of Interest: Pilot (2011)
A homeless man called John Reese (Jim Caviezel) is traveling in the subway when a group of punks attack him, but he subdues the attackers. He goes to the precinct and a stranger called Harold Finch (Michael Emerson) bails him out. Soon Reese learns that the stranger is a billionaire that has invented a device called "The Machine" capable to predict any attack like the September 11th to the government. The Machine also predicts people in danger but the government has disregarded the minor crimes. Finch left a back-door in the device to provide the Social Security Number of the possible victim and hires Reese, who was a former operative agent that misses his girlfriend Jessica Arndt (Susan Misner) that died, to investigate and help the persons and prevent the crime. His first name to investigate is the Assistant D.A. Diane Hanson (Natalie Zea) that is working in the case of a drug dealer. Will Reese succeed and overcome his depression?
"Person of Interest - Pilot" is a TV series with a promising premise and high IMDb Rating. The first episode is highly intriguing with The Machine capable to predict a crime but with minor information: only the Social Security number and no other clue. In the first episode, the good guys are misled by the information. My vote is eight.
Title (Brazil): "Pilot"
The Goonies (1985)
The criminal Jake (Robert Davi) escapes from the jail with the support of his brother Francis (Joe Pantoliano) and his mother Mama Fratelli (Anne Ramsey). Meanwhile a group of boys called The Goonies that will be evicted from their homes in Goon Docks since their parents were not capable to pay the mortgage of their houses meet each other in the house of the brothers Mikey Walsh (Sean Astin) and Brand (Josh Brolin) to celebrate the last day together. When they go to the attic, Mikey finds the map of the treasure of the pirate One Eyed Willis's and he shows to his friends Data (Ke Huy Quan), Chunk (Jeff Cohen) and Mouth (Corey Feldman). They decide to seek out the treasure to save their homes but they find that the location is the hideout of the Fratelli family. Soon they team up with their friends Andy (Kerri Green) and Stef (Martha Plimpton) but they are hunted down by the Fratelli family that wants the treasure for themselves.
"The Goonies" is a nostalgic adventure produced and written by Steven Spielberg and directed by Richard Donner in 1985. Probably most children and parents in those years have watched this film. There are unforgettable scenes, like for example Mouth translating to Spanish the instruction from Mrs. Walsh to Rosalita or Jake crossing his fingers to protect from the attack of bats in the cave. In the present days, the greatest attraction is to see the cast when they were younger and younger. My vote is seven.
Title (Brazil): "Os Goonies" ("The Goonies")
Sometimes They Come Back (1991)
The Students from Milford
The unemployed high school teacher Jim Norman (Tim Matheson) finds a job in his hometown and moves with his wife Sally Norman (Brooke Adams) and their son Scott (Robert Hy Gorman) back in town. Twenty-seven years ago, his family left the town when Jim and his older brother Wayne (Chris Demetral) were bullied and Wayne murdered by a four-teenager gang in a lonely train tunnel. However, the gangster's car was hit by a train and exploded, killing Billy (Matt Nolan), North (Bentley Mitchum) and Vinnie (Nicholas Sadler); only Mueller (William Sanderson) survived. Soon Jim's best students mysteriously dies and are replaced by Billy, North and Vinnie that claim they are from Milford and harasses Jim and his family. What will Jim do to get rid of these demons?
"Sometimes They Come Back" is a creepy horror movie based on a short story by Stephen King even almost thirty years after its release. The tension is increased while the new students from Milford arrive in the high school where Jim is the history teacher. The screenplay entwines present with flashbacks and is scary and well-resolved. My vote is seven.
Title (Brazil): "Às Vezes Eles Voltam" ("Sometimes They Come Back")
Maybe the Most Successful Slasher of the Cinema History
In 1963, in Haddonfield, Illinois, the six-year-old Michael Myers stabs his sister to death in the Halloween night and is confined in a mental institution. In 1978, Michael Myers flees from the institution on the Halloween Eve carjacking his psychiatrist Dr. Samuel Loomis (Donald Pleasence) and heading to his hometown. On the next morning, Michael stalks the high school student and babysitter Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) that has a sixth sense that is followed. However, her best friends Annie Brackett (Nancy Loomis) and Lynda Van der Kiok (P.J. Soles) mock her. Meanwhile Dr. Loomis arrives in Haddonfield looking for his patient.
John Carpenter's "Halloween" is maybe the most successful slasher of the cinema history tha became a classic. With the budget of only US$ 320,000, this film surprised with the world with about 47 million-dollar box office only in USA and introducing Jamie Lee Curtis to her fans. Further the franchise, remake, video game, toys, and many other attractions. My vote is seven.
Title (Brazil): "Halloween: A Noite do Terror" ("Halloween: The Night of Horror")
The Lost Boys (1987)
One of the Best Vampire Movies Ever Made
After her divorce, Lucy Emerson (Dianne Wiest) is completely broken and needs to move with her teenage sons Michael (Jason Patric) and Sam (Corey Haim) to her father's house in the coastal town of Santa Carla in California. Soon the boys learn that there are many missing people in the town. Lucy finds a job at a video store owned by the local Max (Ed Herrmann), who hits on her. Michael has a crush on Star (Jami Gertz), who is close to the leader of a motorcycle gang David (Kiefer Sutherland). And Sam befriends the brothers Edgar (Corey Feldman) and Alan Frog (Jamison Newlander), who tell they are vampire-hunters and give Sam comic books for him to learn how to survive in the vampire town. When Michael joins David's gang to get closer to Star, he drinks from a bottle offered by David in their hideout and soon Michael learns that David and his friends are vampires and he is turning into one. Sam summons his new friends Edgar and Alan trying to save Michael, but it may be too late.
"The Lost Boys" is one of the best vampire movies ever made. The combination of action, comedy and horror is perfect and associated to a top-notch soundtrack. Joel Schumacher was able to join a fantastic cast in this masterpiece. My vote is ten.
Title (Brazil): "Os Garotos Perdidos" ("The Lost Boys")
Battleship on the Big Screen
In the World War II, the rookie American Captain Ernest Krause (Tom Hanks) is assigned in his debut to escort thirty-seven (37) Allied ships through the Atlantic to Liverpool on board of the destroyer Greyhound and commanding two other destroyers and one corvette. When they reach a spot out of the range of the air cover, they are successively attacked by German U-Boats along the next days and nights. Will the Allied vessels survive the German attack?
"Greyhound" is a film of war that gives the sensation of playing the strategy type guessing game "Battleship". The location of the U-Boats concealed from the Allied enemies trying to destroy the escorts and the convoy is engaging and entertaining, with great performance of Tom Hanks. My vote is seven.
Title (Brazil): "Greyhound: Na Mira do Inimigo" ("Greyhound: In the Sight of the Enemy")
The Guns of Navarone (1961)
One of the Best War-Action Films Ever Made
In 1943, the British Navy is not able to rescue 2,000 soldiers trapped in the Island of Kheros since two powerful German cannons on the top of the Navarone Island are sinking the Allied vessels. After a failed aerial attack, the Allied command decide to send a six-man team disguised as fishermen to Navarone to blow-up the guns. The squad is commanded by Maj. Roy Franklin (Anthony Quayle) and composed by Capt. Keith Mallory (Gregory Peck), who is an experienced mountain climber, and his former partner Col. Andrea Stavros (Anthony Quinn); the explosive expert Cpl. John Anthony Miller (David Niven); the engineer CPO 'Butcher' Brown (Stanley Baker); and the Greek assassin Spyros Pappadimos (James Darren), who was born in Navarone. They sail during the night and after an encounter with a German patrol boat and a storm in the sea, they arrive to Navarone and Capt. Mallory needs to climb a cliff face during a heavy rainy night to proceed their mission. Will they succeed?
"The Guns of Navarone" is one of the best war-action films ever made by the cinema industry. The suspenseful plot is engaging from the very beginning, with witty dialogs. The direction of J. Lee Thompson is superb and the cast is a dream team. The action scenes are impressive even in the present days and after watching this film several times. The viewer does not feel the 2h 38 min running time. My vote is ten.
Title (Brazil): "Os Canhões de Navarone" ("The Cannons of Navarone")
This Is Really a Very Bad Movie
Sometimes we read a review in IMDb and find it unfair and believe we may like the film. However, this is not the case of "Clowntergeist", one of the worst low-budget movies ever made. The screenplay is illogical and the direction is terrible. The performances, cinematography, special effects, locations, music score, everything is awful. In the end, "Clowntergeist" is really a very bad movie and not worthwhile watching. Only the art on the DVD cover released in Brasil by Vynix distributor is worthwhile, attracting the attention of fans of horror genre. My vote is two.
Title (Brazil): "Clowntergeist"
The Silence (2019)
Rip-off of "A Quiet Place"
When a group of cave explorers unleashes a dangerous species of blind flying creatures named "vesps" from an underground mine, the population on Earth is attacked and killed by them. The government finds that the creatures attack through the human sound and requests people to stay quiet at home. However, the constructor Hugh Andrews (Stanley Tucci) decides to move to the countryside with his wife Kelly (Miranda Otto); their teenage daughter Ally (Kiernan Shipka), who lost her hearing a couple of years ago in a car accident; their son Jude (Kyle Breitkopf); Kelly's mother Lynn (Kate Trotter), who has lung cancer; and their dog Otis in the family car. Their friend Glenn (John Corbett) joins them in his own car. Glenn has a car accident and attracts the vesps. Later Hugh and his family leave the car and walk communicating only in sign language seeking shelter in the countryside. Will they find a safe place?
The film "The Silence" (2019) is a rip-off of "A Quiet Place" (2018), trying to explore the success if the 2018 movie. The novel of Tim Lebbon "The Silence" may have been published in 2015, but the story of a world without sound was developed by Brian Woods and Scott Beck when they were at college. The veteran cast with Stanley Tucci and Miranda Otto have good performances but are quite old to have a sixteen-year-old daughter and a younger son. However, the film is not as bad as written in many reviews. If the viewer watches with lesser expectations he or she may be surprised by a reasonable adventure. My vote is six.
Title (Brazil): "O Silêncio" ("The Silence")
Beyond White Space (2018)
"Beyond White Space" is one of those films that the viewer regrets the time he or she spent watching it. The story is senseless and with illogical attitudes from the characters; the screenplay is a complete mess, without any character development and beginning in an action scene. There are certainly many fake reviews promoting this flick in IMDb that disappoints even fans of sci-fi. Again, do not waste your time watching this movie; you will regret. My vote is two.
Title (Brazil): Not Available
The wealthy American Penny (Kathryn Leigh Scott) moves to the lonely house of her boyfriend Harry (Simon MacCorkindale) in the countryside of England to recover from a recently mental illness. While sleeping alone during the night, Harry's friend Charles (Stanley Lebor) breaks in the house to rape Penny and she shots him in the face in self-defense using Harry's shotgun and faints. When Harry returns home, he convinces Penny to hide the body in a grave in the woods. But soon Penny starts to see Charles everywhere and Harry's friend Margaret (Mia Nadasi), who is a medium, proposes a séance to get rid of the spirit of Charles. But she concludes he is a strong spirit seeking revenge and they need a most powerful psychic to control him.
"Visitor from the Grave" is a predictable episode from "Hammer House of Horror" that never convinces the viewer. The surprising plot point is only in the very ending. Unfortunately the DVD Box released in Brazil by the shameful "Vinyx Multimedia" distributor with the "Hammer House of Horror" collection (called "A Casa do Terror" in Portuguese) has problems specially on the DVD number four that stops from the twist of this episode on and it is not possible to see the conclusion of this episode and the next two episodes ("The Two Faces of Evil" (12) and "The Mark of Satan" (13)). My vote is five.
Title (Brazil): "Visitante do Túmulo" ("Visitor from the Grave")
The antiquarian Michael Roberts (Ray Lonnen) buys an old mirror in an auction with his friend Laura (Barbara Ewing). Meanwhile, the young woman Allison (Rosalyn Landor) flees from a sect that worships the demon Choronzon and wants to sacrifice her to summon the devil. She stumbles upon Michael's car on the road and he brings her home. He learns that the mirror is a powerful instrument to summon Choronzon. Soon the leader of the cult society Charles Randolph (John Carson), who is a hypnotist, visits Michael expecting to bring Allison back to the sect with the mirror. But Michael has fallen in love with Allison and will do anything to protect her.
"Guardian of the Abyss" is an engaging episode of "Hammer House of Horror" but unfortunately with a deceptive conclusion. The plot attracts the attention of the viewer since the beginning but when Michael goes after Allison, the sequence is terrible. My vote is five.
Title (Brazil): "Guardião do Abismo" ("Guardian of the Abyss")
Dark and Depressive Cinematography
When a woman is found carbonized and petrified in a storehouse, Police Detective Stella Murphy (Christine Woods) is assigned by her chief Jake (Ross Partridge) to the case. Jake is Stella's former husband and they separated when their only child died in a tragic accident. Stella has just recovered from her loss and returned to the police department. The woman is identified as Kyoko (Saki Miata), and Detective Murphy goes to her home and meets her mother Seiko (Takayo Fischer) and her daughter Noriko (Karen Fukuhara). Soon Stella befriends Noriko and learns that her family has a secret power and is threatened by a mysterious biker (Miyavi).
"Stray" is an action film with a dark and depressive cinematography that could have been a great pilot of a series. The story has a great potential unfortunately wasted in a rushed screenplay that does not develop well the interesting and rich characters. Anyway, it is worthwhile watching this intriguing film with less expectations. My vote is six.

Time for Retribution
Sheriff Kyle Williams (Matthew Le Nevez) comes to Bywater to replace the missing sheriff and he learns from his deputy Fraser (Alex O'Loughlin) that there are other 47 missing persons in the area. Further, a man called Rene Laroque (Steve Bastoni) is sabotaging the facility. Kyle gets closer to Teri while he looks for Laroque, and soon he realizes that something in the swamp seems to be protecting Dark Waters.
"Man-Thing" is an action-horror film based on the Marvel character visibly which is practically a rip-off D.C. Comics "Swamp Thing". The film is weak with wonderful landscape but poor special effects. However, it can be watched and entertains. My vote is six.
Title (Brazil): "O Homem-Coisa: A Natureza do Medo" ("The Man-Thing: The Nature of the Fear") - "O Homem Coisa" (DVD) ("The Man Thing")
Swamp Thing (1982)
The American Alice Cable (Adrienne Barbeau) travels to a secret governmental bio laboratory of research in the swamp to replace a missing scientist. Soon she befriends the leader of the research Dr. Alec Holland (Ray Wise) and his sister Dr. Linda Holland (Nannette Brown) and she learns that Alec is developing a hybrid plant combined with animal with the intention to solve the world hunger. However, the ambitious and wealthy Arcane (Louis Jourdan) sends a paramilitary team to steal the research and kill all the team. But there is an accident and the formula spills on Dr. Alec Holland and set him on fire. He disappears in the swamp and Alice is the only survivor of the laboratory team. She hides the seventh notebook with the Alec´s formula and runs to the forest and soon she notes that something is protect her.
"Swamp Thing" is a different film by Wes Craven based on a D.C. Comics. The IMDb rating is unfair since the movie is highly entertaining. One of the greatest attractions is Mrs. "John Carpenter" Adrienne Barbeau, for whom the Swamp Thing falls in love. My vote is seven.
Title (Brazil): "O Monstro do Pântano" ("The Swamp Monster")
The Horror of It All (1983)
A Documentary for Fans of Horror
Directors and writers Gene Feldman and Suzette Winter make a great documentary for fans of horrors. Narrated by José Ferrer, the documentary shows highlights of scenes of horror films and archive footages along the cinema history, and interviews with cast (such as John Carradine, Dana Andrews, Gloria Stuart, Martine Beswick), crew (John Carl Buechler), producers (Herman Cohen), writers (Robert Bloch) and directors (Roger Corman, Rouben Mamoulian) among others. This documentary was recently released on DVD in Brazil as a bonus in a Bela Lugosi box set. My vote is seven.
Title (Brazil): "The Horror of It All"
The Death Kiss (1932)
Well Resolved Crime Film
While shooting a murder scene of the film "The Death Kiss" in the studio with the cast, crew and extras, the lead actor Myles Brent is shot for real and dies. His former wife and lead actress Marcia Lane (Adrienne Ames) becomes the prime suspect when the police find evidences pointing to her including a life insurance in her name. But the screenwriter Franklyn Drew (David Manners), who is her boyfriend, decides to investigate the murder case in an efficient way, trying to prove that Marcia is not guilty and finding the killer.
"The Death Kiss" is a mystery film with a good story. The usual villain Bela Lugosi certainly is the prime suspect of the viewers, but the plot is well resolved. The combination of comedy with crime is good and it is the first time that many viewers will see the 1932 ice box in a house. My vote is seven.
Title (Brazil): "O Beijo da Morte" ("The Death Kiss")
After robbing a convenience store, the smalltime thieves Mickey (Bill Skarsgård) and Jules (Maika Monroe) head to Florida expecting to open a business with shell. However, their car run out of gas and they are forced to pull over on the road. They see a lonely house and decide to break into to look for another car or some gas. But they find a little girl chained on the basement and they decide to help her. Out of the blue, her parents George (Jeffrey Donovan) and Gloria (Kyra Sedgwick) arrive in the house and Mickey and Jules stumble upon them. And soon they learn how sick and disturbed they are.
"Villains" is a funny and entertaining black comedy film that never disappoints. Supported by great performances and a humorous screenplay, the movie is highly recommended for the fans of the genre. My vote is six.
Title (Brazil): Not Available
The Devil Bat (1940)
The Mad Scientist
In Heathville, Dr. Paul Carruthers (Bela Lugosi) is a prominent scientist that helped the local chemical company to grow. However, he is resented with the owners Martin Heath (Edward Mortimer) and Don Morton (Gene O'Donnell) that became rich with his research. Dr. Carruthers electrically develops a huge bat and prepares an aftershave lotion to attract the bat. Then he gives the lotion to members of both families to test and the giant bat attacks them in the neck and kills one by one. The snoopy reporter Johnny Layton (Dave O'Brien) and the photographer 'One-Shot' McGuire (Donald Kerr) are assigned by their editor from the Chicago Register to investigate the murders and Layton falls for Mary Heath (Suzanne Kaaren). But the bat continues to attack the members of the Heath family.
"The Devil Bat" is a funny horror B-movie with Bela Lugosi in the role of a mad scientist. Donald Kerr is responsible for the comic relief with funny situations and maybe the best is when he decides to forge a bat to take pictures to the newspaper and forgets the tag. Fans of Bela Lugosi will not be disappointed. My vote is six.
Title (Brazil): "A Volta de Drácula" ("The Return of Dracula") - "O Morcego Diabólico" (DVD) ("The Devil Bat")
Invisible Ghost (1941)
Silly and Messy Story
The prominent Dr. Charles Kessler (Bela Lugosi) lives in a house with his daughter Virginia Kessler (Polly Ann Young) and his servants and misses his wife (Betty Compson) that left him. When there is a murder in his house, Virginia's fiancée Ralph Dickson (John McGuire) is accused of the killing and sentenced to death penalty in the electric chair. Soon his twin brother Paul comes to Dr. Kessler's house, who invites him to stay in his house. Meanwhile, Mrs. Kessler is alive with neurological disorder after a car accident and hidden in the gardener's house that is secretly treating her. When she sneaks out of the house and sees Dr. Kessler in the window, he goes into a trance and turns into a killer. Will Dr. Kessler be stopped?
"Invisible Ghost" is a 1941 B-movie with Bela Lugosi with a silly and messy story. The black and white cinematography and Bela Lugosi are great but the plot is terrible. However, it is funny and entertaining despite the unbelievable situations. My vote is five.
Title (Brazil): "O Fantasma Invisível" ("The Invisible Ghost")
Chandu the Magician (1932)
Inspiration for the Creation of Mandrake?
After a long training with the yogi in India, the American magician Frank "Chandu" Chandler (Edmund Lowe) learns that his brother-in-law Robert Regent (Henry B. Walthall) has been kidnapped by the evil Roxor (Bela Lugosi). Robert is a prominent scientist that has developed the powerful death ray and the megalomaniac wants to use his invention to dominate the world. Chandu teams up with his beloved Princess Nadji (Irene Ware) and his sidekick Albert Miggles (Herbert Mundin) to rescue Robert from the claws of the dangerous Roxor.
"Chandu the Magician" is a delightful 1932 adventure with Bela Lugosi in one of his best performances. The viewer immediately associates Chandu, Princess Nadji and Miggles with Lee Falk's Mandrake (created in 1934), Princess Narda and Lothar. "Raiders of the Lost Ark" is another association. Unfortunately, the hero Edmund Lowe is miscast, but the villain Bela Lugosi steals the show. Herbert Mundin is responsible for very funny scenes, like the one that he sees his miniature in the bottle's cabinet. The special effects are top-notch. My vote is seven.
Title (Brazil): "Chandu, O Mágico" ("Chandu the Magician")
Rawhead Rex (1986)
The writer Howard Hallenbeck (David Dukes) is spending vacation in the countryside of Ireland with his wife Elaine (Kelly Piper) and children researching legends and myths for his book. Meanwhile, a farmer is trying to remove an old column on the field and accidentally unleashes the evil pagan god Rawhead Rex that begins a crime spree in the village where Howard and his family are lodged.
"Rawhead Rex" is a cult trash written by Clive Barker in the beginning of his successful career in the film industry. The plot is flawed and silly, but it is funny to see. My vote is five.
Title (Brazil): "Monster - A Ressurreição do Mal (VHS)" ("Monster - The Resurrection of the Evil") / "O Senhor das Trevas (DVD)" ("The Lord of the Darkness")
