For some odd reason... I loved it.

Warning: Spoilers
Okay, let's get something straight here. After reading some spoilers before the episode aired, I gotta admit, I didn't hold much hope for this episode. I thought that it sounded a little bit boring and clichéd, but last nights episode really defied my expectations.

The Main Plot (Sheldon & Amy): For me, this plot was a great example of how 'The Big Bang Theory' has developed its characters. To see Sheldon feel so embarrassed and ashamed was not what I expected. He finally opened up to Am y and connected with her on a human level. It was really nice to see Amy try to comfort Sheldon, even though she was kind of shocked. I really like to see the human side of Sheldon every now and then, like in this episode. (P.S. I laughed so much at the laptop's funeral service)

The Sub-Plot (Penny, Leonard, Howard, Bernadette & Raj): I liked to see Penny finally taking an interest in Leonard's work. I really enjoyed the dialogue between each couple and I enjoyed the Raj jokes about the closet. I think the writers had the choice of either;

-Letting Howard and Leonard feel bad and let the girls (and Raj) tell them off (In my opinion, this would have felt a little overplayed.)

-Letting Howard and Leonard figure out that they had done wrong and do the right thing and apologize. (This, I felt, was a good choice as it symbolized the growth of the characters.)

So, overall, I loved tonight's episode and felt that the show has returned to the feel-good sitcom we all grew to love. (The golf ball.. Classic Sheldon!)
