I was left pretty bummed by a lot of things.
First, the lack of a real story. The story that is hinted at is trite and as used as an old baggy.
Second, Gaga. Really? She's not an actress, not much of a singer, either. She's an entertainer, and this role does not need an entertainer. It needs a convincing actress.
Third, the gratuitous violence and gore. The other seasons of AHS didn't need to rely so heavily on splatter to draw the audience in. The other seasons used creepiness and interesting characters, which was far more enjoyable.
A horror story should be scary. This is not scary. Except for Gaga's acting.
