Screen (2013)

Not bad, not brilliant .******SPOILERS******

Warning: Spoilers
I stumbled on this as I was just flicking through trying to find something to watch. The general premise is a drive-in movie theatre where 40 years ago everyone who was in there watching the screen died and it remained a mystery. We follow 2 girls who decide to go along to a party held there for the anniversary which also coincides with Halloween (Yey).

For the majority of the film nothing happens, it's just talking and filming the road-trip and then local people to find out their take on the 'legend'. Then we are at the drive thru and watching the celebrations get underway, until the last few minutes of the film when things go to hell in a handcart.

I have seen a lot worse than this - the acting was passable. run time 70 minutes which was good as there isn't much story. However, it did keep me engaged enough that I didn't want to turn it off and for a change one of our leads acted in a sensible way when everything started going bad, she got in the car and drove away. All in all wasn't that bad.
