I just saw this at an advanced screening. I am not into the world of graphic novels, and was not aware of the protagonist's story. I enjoyed the mixing of the real-life Harvey and his friends. It was interesting to see the movie, play, and the real characters flashing back and forth. The portrayals were quite good. The wife's part was underdeveloped. His friend Toby could have been a story all in himself, and I would have enjoyed him being a bigger part of the film.
