When I saw this at the pictures, it did originally come across as an exciting film plenty of action, suspense, humour and feasible storyline.
But, I have to say having seen the film a few times, Jason Patric is awful and fails miserably to step into the shoes of Keannu Reeves. The original Speed film has everything that this film is missing.
The script is very poor. I know that it's supposed to be juxtaposition to the first Speed film but some of the scenes towards the end are like watching paint dry - the action is so slow.
