Poll: Tab Hunter, RIP

Fifties screen idol Tab Hunter has passed away at the age of 86. Born Arthur Kelm, he made his way to Hollywood and was renamed by famed agent Henry Willson, who also nurtured the careers of Rock Hudson, Robert Wagner, Troy Donahue and many more. He was seen squiring Hollywood's most beautiful young starlets, in an effort to cover up that he was a closeted homosexual.

Once his golden boy looks faded, Hunter began to work with more underground filmmakers like John Waters and he wrote a book, "Tab Hunter Confidential: The Making of a Movie Star." JJ Abrams and Zachary Quinto are currently working on a feature film version of the memoir.
