Poll: R.I.P. Anouk Aimée
The famous poet and screenwriter Jacques Prévert once told Anouk Aimée that everyone loved her. The verb "to love" in French is "aimer", and someone who is loved is "aimé(e)". Anouk took "aimée" as her surname. A surname well-chosen, because indeed, throughout the years she remained one of the most popular French actresses. She had the chance to work for Federico Fellini, Claude Lelouch, François Truffaut and Jacques Demy, among others. She passed away on June 18, 2024.
