Jack Black’s Kung Fu Panda 4 has done a decent job of impressing the critics as a standalone film, but it might be the weakest entry in the franchise. Despite the franchise’s immense popularity, the declining trend in the appeal of the films was clearly visible in the box office number of the last outing. However, the upcoming movie is expected to make the highest profits among the four films due to its low production budget.
Jack Black’s Po & Awkwafina’s Zhen in Kung Fu Panda 4
Kung Fu Panda 4 arrives as a major competitor to Dune: Part Two which is making big waves at the box office. While the lower rating compared to other films has brought some negative press for the film, it is expected to collect $45-50 million in its opening weekend.

Jack Black’s Po will take on his most formidable villain yet, Viola Davis’ Chameleon, in Kung Fu Panda 4. The film will hit theaters in a few days but the critical reviews of the film are out after its premiere at the AMC 14 Theater at The Grove in L.A. The largely positive reviews prove that Po & team have managed to impress the viewers a fourth time. However, we believe that Jack Black may not return for the future Kung Fu Panda sequels.

As believed earlier, the Furious Five have a limited role in the film. It might be the last time fans get to hear the voices of the likes of Angelina Jolie and Jackie Chan. The future sequels are likely to be voiced by a new young cast.

Disney held its world premiere of Haunted Mansion without actors due to the SAG-AFTRA strike and the first reactions of the Justin Simien-directed film are coming in.
Inspired by the classic ride at the Disneyland Resort theme park. The story of the film is about a woman and her son who enlist a motley crew of so-called spiritual experts to help rid their home of supernatural squatters.
Steven Weintraub from Collider praised Simien and screenwriter Katie Dippold saying they “did great work” in the adaptation.
“Happy to report Haunted Mansion is one of those family films that will spook kids, make adults laugh (a lot), and fans of the ride will keep pointing at the screen because it’s loaded with Easter eggs,” Weintraub tweeted.

The reviews are in for “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,” Marvel Studios’ first solo superhero movie featuring an Asian lead and ensemble cast, and critics call the movie “a triumph,” “a groundbreaking step of representation” and “a fiercely Asian American superhero film.”
Along with praising the grounded action scenes in the film’s first half, Tony Leung’s villain Wenwu gets noticed for being “one of the best MCU villains yet.”
“If Marvel Studios has thus far made slow progress in developing solo adventures for its many superheroes of color, it takes another successful stride, if not quite as sizable as “Black Panther,” with “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,” a film that builds simultaneously on the lexicon of 50 years of Hong Kong action films and the thematic boilerplate of MCU origin stories,” wrote TheWrap’s Todd Gilchrist in his review.
