While music producers are responsible for the biggest songs that top the Billboard charts, play ad nauseum on the radio and are most streamed, they often fly under the radar for their behind-the-scenes hitmaking prowess.
But each year, the Recording Academy recognizes — and rewards one of — the mainstream maestros with the Producer of the Year (Non-Classical) trophy at the Grammy Awards. Up for this year’s prize: Benny Blanco, Greg Krustin, Max Martin, Nineteen85 and Ricky Reed.

Weezer gave a bombastic live rendition of their latest anthem "I Love the USA" on The Late Late Show With James Corden on Wednesday.
The alternative rock band released "I Love the USA" over the summer in honor of Nasa's Juno spacecraft, which successfully entered Jupiter's orbit on July 4th, five years after its launch. The track is a fitting red, white and blue-blooded ballad and on The Late Late Show, Rivers Cuomo pounded away at a piano and belted his patriotic salvo, while the rest Weezer surrounded him. At the end of the song,...

It’s results time again on America’s Got Talent, and the votes are in! Who will make it through to the semi-finals and who is going home? Agt Alumnus iLuminate returns to perform with Fitz and The Tantrums. There’s no question that The Clairvoyants, Viktor Kee, Steven Brundage, and Calysta Bevier are among the seven semi-finalists. Their performances were amazing and mind-blowingly good. Though if I were to see one of these acts in Vegas, I’d go with The Clairvoyants simply because they have that mystic mentalism ability to foresee things. I wonder if they can predict who will win the

Now that Game of Thrones' most recent season has come to a close, it's been pretty hard to accept the fact that we won't be seeing Jon Snow, the saddest, sexiest bastard in all of the seven kingdoms, on our TV screens every Sunday. Luckily, Jon's offscreen alter ego, Kit Harington, is currently filming the movie The Death and Life of John F. Donovan, where he was spotted listening to music during some downtime in between shooting scenes. What's on his iPod, we wonder. What music might the great Jon Snow jam out to when he's not taking down Ramsay Bolton or fulfilling his destiny to save the world? We have a few ideas: "Dead or Alive" by Bon Jovi "The Wall" by Bruce Springsteen "Zombie" by The Cranberries "Don't Hold the Wall" by Justin Timberlake "Daddy Lessons" by Beyoncé "Winter Song" by Sara Bareilles and Ingrid Michelson "Sometimes...

When you’ve been working together as long as Samuel Frisch and Jean Paul and Alexander Makhlouf of Cash Cash have, the release of a new album makes for a momentous occasion indeed. After weathering the ebbs and flows of the ever-changing electronic music industry for the past few years, the trio have finally released the culmination of their efforts this week in the form of Blood, Sweat & 3 Years.
While Cash Cash had not quite established a strong identity for themselves as an electronic music act up until recently, a brief conversation with them reveals that in person, at least, they’ve got more than enough personality to accompany the studio-length effort.
Sam, Jp and Alex were nice enough to squeeze in a quick interview with us before their performance at Marquee Dayclub last weekend in Las Vegas. Being that their album release is today, we felt that it would...

Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis was sent to a Los Angeles hospital hours before a headlining slot at Kroq's annual Weenie Roast. Flea made the announcement from the stage and apologized. According to a rep for the radio station, Kiedis was taken from the venue in an ambulance suffering from extreme stomach pain. A diagnosis is unknown at this time. Weezer ended up closing the show, which was held at Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre in Irvine, Calif. Other bands on the bill included Empire of the Sun, Panic! at the Disco, Garbage, Lumineers, Fitz and the Tantrums and Miike
